About Us

Wine & Dine is a group dedicated to exploring the world of wine while enjoying the company of friends.  We welcome guests of all levels of wine experience as our goal is to discover our tastes, refine our palates, and deepen our friendships.

Sake Wine & Dine party, August 2010

Members of the club alternate hosting a Wine & Dine party one Saturday a month.  The host provides the main course and chooses the theme of wines (i.e. Northwest Reds, bottles with cats on the label, Rieslings from around the globe, etc.) The guests all bring a side dish, appetizer, or desert and share in the cost of the wine.  Everyone drinks, eats, and shares in general merriment.

Hosts have a lot of freedom in how they want to present the wine.  Some parties are informational; guests know which wines they are drinking and the party is geared more towards learning about a specific vintner or variety of wine.  Other parties are more playful.   We’ve had blind taste test parties, and parties that compare wines on a tournament bracket. We've had classic flight parties, and we've even had a "Price is Right" wine & dine party! 

This website is dedicated to sharing our experiences, our recipes, and our favorite wines in order to create a more cohesive society of wine-lovers.
